Unlike most antivirus software on the market, Trojan Remover features a lightweight interface which only displays the number of known threats and the date when the last update was performed. Beneath these statistics, you can find a Scan button which will immediately start a scanning task. You won't even have to specify what folders to scan. The software will automatically scan vital areas such as Registry keys, running programs, active setup DLLs and many more.

Trojan Remover's interface also features a toolbar where you can activate a fast scan feature. This will scan the files loaded at boot time. Also on the toolbar, you can find options for managing excluded files, accessing a malware reference database or performing an update. Other actions can be performed by accessing the Utilities menu. These include resetting Internet Explorer's home page, update policies, the Windows HOSTS file and others.

Pros:
Trojan Remover features a very simple interface, but its real strength lies under the hood. It can remove malicious software which other antiviruses could not.

Cons:
A few additional features, like scheduling a scan or setting up a firewall would have been welcomed.

Stubborn malware can be removed by performing a simple scan. Where other antivirus software would fail, Trojan Remover will succeed.
